A woman is much more sensitive than a man. It is more difficult for her to forget an unsuccessful love affair or unhappy marriage. Woman’s soul is so complicated and thus her feeling of happiness is so illusive, so occasional and so short. And that’s why all women are crazy of fashion as they know a reception of happiness is simple – hairdo, make up and a dress. High fashion is necessary for every woman because when she is in trouble it is the way out for her.

The idea to treat a wounded heart with fashion occurred to Christian Dior’s mind when he was 26. It was a terrible black stripe that colored all his bright and care free life in one moment. A young, handsome and quite a rich fellow had his own gallery and was sure of his light future when that black stripe came. First his mother died from cancer and then his father became a bankrupt. And the things came from bad to worse when Christian had known he was ill himself. The disease was called tuberculosis and was incurable in those times. How could he know that fashion had that strong influence on every mind that gives forces to struggle and win in the most serious situations? He didn’t think about it. He took a piece of cloth in his hands just to make them busy and began to create… A lot of good things were born in his hands during that black period of time – flying dresses from Dior, Dior high heeled shoes and DIOR replica handbags. All the things in general that later formed his “New Look” – the first collection.
Dior’s career was not long. His problems with health were too serious and soon he died because of them. But he will live an eternal life in Dior dresses, Dior perfume and DIOR replica handbags giving all the women feeling of happiness and the firm belief in better tomorrow!
